COURSE DESCRIPTION

WBCS is undoubtedly the most prestigious service under the government of West Bengal. The recruitment examination for WBCS is conducted by the Public Service Commission. There are 3 stages of examination under this:

• Preliminary Examination.
• Main Examination.
• Personal Interview.

MCQ Type:

• General Studies - I : (a) Indian History with special emphasis on National Movement and (b) Geography on India with special reference to West Bengal.
• General Studies - II : Science and Scientific and Technological Advancement, Environment, General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
• The Constitution of India and Indian Economy including role and functions of Reserve Bank of India.
• Arithmetic and Test of Reasoning.
